Jason is originally from Stratford, CT and is currently residing in Lowell, MA. He has been involved with the color guard world for 18 years, having started his color guard career with Bunnell High School in 1996. CREATIVE DIRECTOR - David Bruni and PROGRAM COORDINATOR - George D Mattis III. BRASS ARRANGER - Joey Pero; BATTERY ARRANGER - Teddy Mascari; PIT ARRANGER - Ryan Reed; and VISUAL DESIGNER - Thomas Sparling. Creative Director David Bruni was Empire Statemen’s Assistant Director, drum major and Show Coordinator from 1983 to 2013. Under David’s leadership, from 1988 through 2013, the Empire Statesmen never finished below 4th (except 6th in 2012).

I forgot I had bought two seats to DCA Prelims and Finals (hoping that perhaps I wouldn't be....all...by....myself....don't wanna be...all...by...myself...anymore....).   22. Drum Corps Associates (DCA) is hosting their 53rd annual “Parade of Champions” competition on Saturday, August 15, 2015. It is being held at Scranton High School Stadium, 63 Mike Munchak Drive, Scranton PA 18508, and starts at 7:00 P.M. sharp. Corps appearing are: Buccaneers, Bushwhackers, Caballeros, Cadets 2, Fusion Corps, Skyliners, and White Sabers (in alphabetical order). The “Parade of Champions” is one of DCA’s longest running shows. They have been holding the “Parade of Champions” in conjunction with local American Legion Posts since 1962.   23. The Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps announced that the organization has extended Director Larry Carbonell’s term through the end of the 2017 season. Larry Carbonell was instrumental in revitalizing the Skyliners Drum Corps in May 2013, and leading the corps back onto the field of DCA competition in 2014. The Skyliners are celebrating their 70th Anniversary this year. The corps has showed growth – in experience and numbers – as they prepare for the 2015 DCA season.
