I know this has been done before, but it's hot in LA and I'm bored. What do you think?

Hm... I think my one wish would be that age-out year be extended to 46 so I could march just one more year. : ) Really...my family wouldn't mind me being gone for three months.

definitely the Championships in my hometown...that would be sweet, I just hope people dont get to upset that the Washington DC, Baltimore Area gets to hog the shows..

Don't really care about VK or Star (why do we need another midwest corps?

Narration should be required :)

I hope practically no one attends finals...it means I will get better seats

We as fans are extremely stupid...dont want our stupidity to affect placements.

Increasing the number of corps sounds like a good idea, until you realize that every regional would turn into a week long event...

I'd rather not a million people line up a ridiculous hours of the morning in order to buy something from a souvie truck..

Ahem:

JK Rowling writes a seven-book series is the only one to pick. why?

Firstly, fan-judged finals night would be messy, with all the corps fanboys. or girls. .... nevermind, just call them honks. -.-

Secondly, J.K. Rowling's next works are going to be HUGELY publicized. like, massively. Like Stephen King, but more so. And of course, everyone will read them. So assuming the books are any good (probably even if they aren't) that's some 4 billion readers exposed to DCI.

inevitably some of them would start following DCI, or heck, they might even

-Attend Finals and push attendance past 35,000

-Join existing corps such as VK and help push them back to championship form

-Form new corps and increase competing numbers in each division by 50 %

-Cause DCI sponsorships to go through the roof and allow for dozens of added home shows

-Invigorate the international marching music community, since the books would be in every language known to scholastic publishing

-Cause a huge influx of new opinions and ideas as to how Drum Corps works, including the critical narration topic.. there might even be a new overseeing organization with no amplification allowed, as well as one that uses only G bugles, or mayhaps combinations or other branches of Corps.

the only negative i can think of is that with all this uber-popularity Star would probably make another Blast! show to take advantage of it and would not return to the field.
