newbride91303
I wasn't there but I do have scores: 1. Bucs 85.525 2. Cabs 84.463 3. Empire 82.663 4. Bush 81.2 5. Brigs 80.
CabsContra0660
What I learned from Lewisburg Last Night, anyone standing near the Cabs Bari and Contra Line Feel Free to Contribute (If you were standing near us in retreat this should all sound familiar) 1. According to DCP Rule #1, you may not break ranks to go talk to Empire. 2. Reading has 6 Girl Tubas 3. It is considered unprofessional to yell at the other corps just to say hi 4. Anthony and Mo have not yet figured out the brigadiers drumline hand game...BEEEYAR (Crawford and Schmidt have) 5. Bushwackers drumline took all of retreat to enter the field 6. Captain Morgan Saturday 7. The Caballeros Family includes....The Cabs Competitive Corps, The Cabs Alumni COrps, Latin Express and the Caballeras all female drum and bugle corps 8. Empire Statesmen Contras are auditioning for So You THink You Can Dance 9. NO SMILING IN DRUM CORPS 10. Retreat will follow the Lewisburg Format....Longer to get in the stadium than to hear the scores Great night everyone, Congrats!!!!
marc-andré
3. It is considered unprofessional to yell at the other corps just to say hi Hey Brad, I'm probably unprofessionnal, I'm not just say Hi :) Great job everyone. B) As for placement, I agree with most except for Empire..I felt they had passed Cabs due to the fact that Cabs had a timing problem for a bit in the beginning of the show( in my humble opinion). Also, I didn't feel Reading was at the top of the game at times either, but still were best of show...Brigs and Bush seemed like they just didn't have a spark but still executed well...anyhow that was how i saw it....and it was nice to see Cabs alumni still pack a PUNCH....Marines were AWESOME....and I can't wait till tickets for next year go on sale...anyone else want to go out on a limb.....
