ouooga
Vesuvius and American Elegy by far are my favorites
Silver_King
omg you're so hilarious lulz.calm down. I've read a lot of your posts, and not a lot of them are particularly brain picking... this one is just borderline stupid. At least wait until the official show announcement to begin the stupid narration jokes. ~>conner i don't wee what your getting at. I loved there show for the last 3 years. I just can'twait to see how made DCP will get.
atlvalet
Perhaps for '09 George will start to remove himself from the creative process. That way, the people with talent are making the decisions. Edited September 24, 2007 by atlvalet
newkenshin417
Hmm... I like a lot of his work, but maybe it could be an American theme? American Elegy, Shenandoah, Gaian Visions, Simple Gifts? Donno, but it should be great!
bawker
Hmm. Gonna wait and see on this one until we get some source music pinned down...but Ticheli could work nicely for them.
Mouthpiece1234
Does anyone know the Ticheli was at Finals and wished us luck at the Gate? :-) It was pretty sweet!

Wow. You post a lot here lately, but this has got to be the most idiotic thing I have ever read from you. First off, I would like to congratulate you on having a firm grip of the obvious. Go you. Secondly, I could have sworn that tripe that was "narration" I heard last year was worse than anything I have written...IMHO. How about this: Jay Bocook, Tom Aungst, George Hopkins. So, you tell me...in that group, who's the weak sister? Edited September 24, 2007 by atlvalet
PhantomR
What are everyone's favorite Tichelli pieces? Oh, for those that don't like him, I asked for favorites not essays about why we dont like his music. not a huge Ticheli fan, but I do love Postcards, and most of 2nd Symphony. ~>conner
Einstein On The Beach
http://www.manhattanbeachmusiconline.com/f...p3_ticheli.html Listen to Radiant Voices, much better than his educational middle/high school band works (well yeah..) It's actually quite refreshing to hear him in this setting. Hopefully Hopkins looks at this stuff. Smart people on that staff though, I'm sure they know better than to program American Elegy and Portrait of a Clown (oh band music..)
