Bloo had one of the best contra features of all time. Superb execution. PR was great as usual, but Bloo was given some really slick stuff to play.

This raises an interesting question, which I brought up in the high brass poll - this poll can be taken in a couple different ways:

1) Best performing low brass

2) Most talented (not necessarily the best performing) low brass

3) Best low brass book (a function of arranging, not so much performing)

Then again, maybe I'm splitting hairs - I just know I would have different answers for all three of those options.

For example - the Bluecoats tuba line had a really cool book this year, but there is always the thought that other groups could have handled it too had they received the same book. So, the Bluecoats arranging allowed them to excel on the field in a way that other didn't. Is it better, worse, different - I don't know (though, I voted for them).

Is it just me, or are there two 'Bluecoats' options on the Baris/Euphs?
