dallasburgess Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 1999 - Tupelo, MS (Madison) We stayed at the show site that day, we only had a 5 hour block, but it was the longest 5 hours in the world!! The worst part about it was, that it got more humid and hotter as the sun went down. During pre-show visual warm up, I remember Chris Harmon and BZ getting so p!$$@& that they actually beat us during pre-show. The stadium was so hot, that the fans didn't really react to any corps because they were fanning themselves with the show programs the whole time. I remember the EMT's being freaked out the whole night! Wierd thing was, two days later, we had an eight hour rehearsal in Murfreesboro, TN during a heat advisory, and it didn't seem to bother anyone, in fact, we had a great rehearsal!
