For those in drum corps land that could send us contact information for the follwing people and PM to this address. If you have contacted Kevin, ask him about Howard. Dave Carbone is a drum judge, so you might be able to get in touch with him through DCI. Bill Durst is an elementary school band director in St. Pete. The name of the school is Oakhurst Elementary. Marched Suncoast in '84 and '85, brass instructor for Carolina Crown, Magic and Crossmen in the '90s. Also my middle school band director. Also my middle school band director. Unfortunately, I think he no longer works in music education. Bob Barfield, Tommy Santino and Andy Poor come to mind too. Andy is a chief judge and Bob has been on Boston's staff the last several years. I also agree with trying to track down Don Taylor. I suggest you scan the Suncoast website for former staff. Also my middle school band director. Unfortunately, I think he no longer works in music education. Last I heard Actually Don was still Teaching In Marrieta Georgia and is a DCI Judge. You could start with DCI. He was an Excellent Brass Instructor and Caption Head. Not to mention he Marched LEad Sop during the killer 85 show!
