Vickie Kingsmen
I am so greatful for all of these suggestions that there is no way in he@@ I could be insulted, thank you all so much for your help! Just so you know, Tansea is my husband. I started working with a winter guard again this year (after not teaching since 1991). He came in to help with conditioning and loves it. I took home a few flags, a rifle and a saber for us to both learn and practice with. I need to learn new school work and he just needs to learn. He is in awesome shape (much better than me) and is a very smart man. I'm sure he'll catch on quickly. Unfortunately, there is only 1 World Class guard in our area and no Senior guards. With everyones help/advise, we'll have a lot of fun! Thanks!!!!

He wants to march an indoor guard somewhere too, so I'm trying to get him solid on equipment, movement, and everything else... This past season, he helped me with my guard and learned everything along the way. He was a great student, staying after to rehearse and not let me go home! HAHA! I love the way guard just gets into people's blood! Good luck to you both!

Mike got his start in drum corps as a young boy - Santa Clara Sparks and his first year at DCI was 1973 where he took home the title marching with SCV! He was always one of those guys that hung out with guards during the winter. He's going to be awesome!!!! He's the love of my life and thankfully, we love a lot of the same things like guard and drum corps!!!
