BMBob
It sounds exciting. I like the choice of composers, and I think the style will be great. I loved the first show Memphis did, and it seems like this could be more in that direction, which in my opinion would be awesome.
AndrewK
At the last camp the staff had a design meeting and changed the show. It still has some of the same basic concepts though. Instead of Blackout it will be called Satin Stories. Bartok's 2nd String Quartet in A Minor Music from Requiem for a Dream (Summer Overture, The Beginning of The End, and Lux Aeterna) Sleep (with Patsy Cline's Sweet Dreams of You hinted in it) back into Bartok then finish with Harrison's Dream. Also woven into the show will be voicings of the song Dreamweaver. I think it will be an exciting season! :)
bigdrumcorpsfan1
This isn't a total change. The former program designers were forming the show around the Bartok String Quartet. Permission was granted to use it. Looks like MS has kept it. Good idea. It's a fantastic piece if it's done right.

DannyII
eh, last year it was a purple version of the "General Lee", but I found the rig and liked it better.
ActualMarchingMember
Not so fast. http://www.memphisdrumcorps.org/library/20...m&Staff.pdf They may as well just call the show "DID" and settle it. Although a bright spot, former staff (Michael McCray, Ryan Todd, etc.) now listed as consultants. Hopefully it's not too late. Eh... (*DID = Dissociative Identity Disorder, for the slow ones. )
