trumpet_player Posted June 27, 2008 Author Share Posted June 27, 2008 Directors Leave Until Monday June 30th Unfortunately Brilliante has hit a time in our season where all of the directors and all of the staff will be leaving the drum corps until Monday. We all hate to leave, especially now with our scores so high, but it has to be done. We are hoping all the best for the drum corps as the drum major will be the only instructional staff on the field for 3 full days. As much as the scores may suffer in the next few days the corps is expecting to make a full recovery and push on with the season by Monday. Brilliante's "Drum Major Days" There will be more weekends like this where the staff will have to leave the corps and the drum major is the only one with them. So we are calling them the "drum major days". The following dates are when staff has to leave again. July 3 - July 6 July 11 - July 13 July 18 - July 20 July 29 - August 12 We do realize that the last period of time is through championships, but the staff's hands are tied.
