leadsop97
So the first show in the Northeast for open class was tonight in New London. DCI just posted the scores. Surf 73.35 Citations 66.65 Spartans 59.35 7th Regiment 57.65 Raiders 56.35 Targets 45.85 That's one of the highest opening scores I can remember for the Northeast. When I was marching with ECJ, us and Spartans seemed to always score around 70-71. Looks like Surf might just be amazing this summer. Also congrats Citations and 7th. Great first showing for the new year, keep it up and turn some heads.

runner_up
Great job to the Citations! They really seem to be moving up the ladder in terms of competitive quality and administrative stability. Nice to see such a young corps on the move up!
goldingna
I also think that congratulations are in order for the Spartans. An opening score of 59.35 definitely puts them in the hunt for finals. Not bad for a corps that was supposed to have imploded. Nick Golding (A guy with zero connections to the Spartans)
GlassmenFan
Way to go Surf and Citations. Glad to see the old ECJ staff is contributing to two great corps. Congrats to everyone else, also.

dckid80
They really seem to be moving up the ladder in terms of competitive quality and administrative stability. Nice to see such a young corps on the move up! Not sure what you meant by this. We competed against them in '78. They are most definately stable and have been for over 30 years. I think the idea is that the Citations have had a few years where they've not been the most competitive corps across any division, but now they're really going to turn some heads. OldBones
Scores from tonight are Jersey Surf - 74.050 Citations - 68.050 7th Regiment - 59.550 Spartans 58.3 Rest of the scores: Raiders - 57.25 Targets - 48.6 Raiders show is clearly not finished yet and in New London, they had 3 horn players, 1 tenor, and 1 cymbal player on the sidelines. Any reviews?
