Jared_mello Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 i know i'm like 1500 miles away, but i wish i was in massillon tonight. bias aside i think it's one of the best venues in all of drum corps. the metal overhang is great. stadium is perfection for dci.....granted its not "old school" astroturf like it was until 2006, but i'm sure the field is in good shape now too. speaking of which, is it in massillon again this year as opposed to canton like last year? i was really disappointed by canton in 2007; the crowd reaction actually seemed like less than normal shows across the country. 2004-2006, the bluecoats have had amazing shows in massillon.....i think 07 was good too but dont really remember. i think they'll come out on top of scv tonight by around a point. ....then again, nothing is definite at this point. i watched scv rehearse in atlanta, and they still have a lot of potential to make use of. This is the last meeting of all the world class corps before Bluemington. I still don get why the Blue Stars are in the top 12. The show isnt THAT great.
