I like bikes,

i LIKE Trains,

I like Samurais,

i like SPARTACUS,

I like all things absurd,

I even like Sara,

I like Boxers,

AND Planets,

and the #3,

Why does everyone here have to over analyze everything.

Enjoy and appreciate what these young adults are doing.

I hate poor grammar and spelling.

I like INT. They can be " like all things absurd " too....( despite their lines sometimes being too long and with some timing issues.)

I have a hard time associating the word "creative" with shows by corps that are:

A) being done for the third time in the corps' history.

B) based on recently done winter drumline shows.

C) rely completely on past ideas (Visually and musically) of past drum corps shows that were creative and innovative.

Just sayin'.

I second that.

Okay, so you're saying that...

A. Phantom's 2008 production is not much different than their 1981 and 82 offerings? While using the same theme and music, the creativity for the 2008 production is much greater than the shows from nearly three decades ago. Creativty as a whole is much greater in this decade than what we witnessed in the early 80s. Back then, corps just played and marched without much, if any consideration for setting a "mood" in the stadium. Now...it's all about mood and atmosphere.

B. A corps that uses the same theme of a winter drum line can't be creative? If you consider that they have to max the theme out for a full 150 member drum corps, complete with brass, guard, and a drill to fit a football field...I believe that yes, it is possible to be creative while using a theme from a unit from another INDOOR activity.
