Linda Slocum
Most corps most years recently have tended to be 10-25 miles out. Of course, this year, with the change in venues, they may be more scattered than usual, and the Open Class corps are more likely to be in northern Indiana where their events are. It would be unusual to have a bunch of corps housed within 10 miles of Bloomington. Madison got screwed on housing for Bloomington... they're 2 1/2 hours outside of Bloomington in Vincennes. They've been trying to get a better location with less travel time, but so far no changes. So much for letting DCI figure out housing sites... DC_jared
I would like to point out that while the Bluecoats are housing at Bedford North Lawrence High School, the snare one right off center went to high school there, and this is his age out year. He's been in drum corps since he was 14 and his housing site during finals week in his age out year is his native high school. If any of you are interested in coming to watch the Bluecoats at their housing site, it is only a half hour south of Bloomington. You can get their either by taking 446 or 37. 446 is a very nice drive through the Hoosier National Forest, going across Lake Monroe. I'd highly recommend it. You will turn right turning into Heltonville and you take 58 to the high school. There should be readily available parking.

This seems to happen most every year to one corps at least.

AnArchY
I just checked SCV's website and their confirmed housing is Park Tudor HS, 7200 N. College Ave, Carmel, IN 46032. For those of you relying on GPS to find locations, Park Tudor HS is in Indianapolis, not Carmel. Splitting hairs, but your GPS won't find it if you use Carmel. Cheers! jonomaphone
Hey folks, As an Indy native, I thought it would be good to have a topic with the housing sites (school's names and towns) for each corps...in case one might want to go check out a rehearsal or deliver some cookies, etc. SO please post what you know. THANKS
