We caught semis in section 344 (5 yard line or so) and it was bad...but what do you expect for bad seats? However, it was MUCH worse than sitting on the 5 in an open air stadium. Therefore, I'll be making the trek to Allentown next year even though I live in Indy. It's just more enjoyable for me to experience drum corps outside. If it rains, so be it...that's a chance I'll take. My company has FoDCI tickets so I'll be at LOS regardless. I'll just know not to expect much. Not much at all...

All I have to say is Teal has come a LONG way from the gold spray-painted rims on their first busses! Not exactly "rock star"! :) If DCI says they can go, then they can go. What's all the discussion about?

Michigan City is in Central. Indiana (most of it anyway) finally decided to go with Eastern. However, the Evansville and Gary areas (of which Michigan City is considered part) follow Central.

Yep. Sounds right to me at least. :)

From what I've been told by one of the Open directors, they find out today what their housing site will be. Kind of inconvenient, but I understand the necessity on Jeff Cox' end. You have sites to house 17 corps but don't know WHICH 17 corps will be moving on? You can see the dilemna.

Finals Week Housing / Rehearsal Sites

For those of you relying on GPS to find locations, Park Tudor HS is in Indianapolis, not Carmel. Splitting hairs, but your GPS won't find it if you use Carmel. Cheers! -
DCI running on fumes?.....NOT!
AnArchY replied to Plan9's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
LUCK?! I highly doubt that...you may see it as luck but I'll bet dollars to donuts that you worked very hard to put yourself in the position to be offered such a gig. I know I did. :) No luck about it... But I'll be at Semis (Open AND World) buying as many souvies as I can get my hands on. Pay it forward... Also, can we talk profit MARGIN instead of straight profit? It tells a more realistic story. :) 6% margin is pretty darn low (other than in the grocery biz). Just sayin... -
Thanks! I know Bob and didn't even think to contact him...shame on me!

We need graphic design work for our marching-related business, so what better place to look than DCP? I know I've seen some great original graphic design on here in the past. Logo, letterhead, business card, and website design are all needed and of course, we'll pay. :) PM us and we'll go from there.

PM me. I might have something for you depending on when you need them.

All Suppliers Should Cut Their Prices 10%
AnArchY replied to Snapettes Mom's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
:P Of course it didn't (hence the wink at the end). However, it was a great opportunity (I thought) to plug my favorite book. And really, it was aimed at those that wouldn't get the irony (of which there are a great many on this site). Rock on. -

Marching Barons Sr. Corps of Bluefield, WV
AnArchY replied to Mark Time's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Weren't there two ''purported'' corps from WV being started a while back? I seem to remember some negative things coming to light both times. Anyone for a third time? I'm on a pocket pc right now or i'd search for the threads. seem to be some similarities...but I hope this is legit... -

Looking for one set of Pearl Championship Quads 8-10-12-14 OR Quints 6-8-10-12-14 Would also be interested in 3 sets of 6-10-12-13-14 Doesn't matter if they're banged up some, I'm going to recover them anyway. Sorry, but I won't pay more than educator's new pricing (wouldn't make sense, huh?). Email or PM me directly. Thanks! edit: wish I could edit the title of my own post!
