The Other Mike
it sounded like a million cats coughing up hairballs... Ummmm, never heard ANYTHING described that way but it sure is an audio snapshot I won't forget.
qsurf
i noticed it in allntown, but i thought it could have been where i was sitting. i noticed it again tonight watching the quarterfinals broadcast in the theaters. phantom's quad sound really doesn't project well. unless they're playing by themselves i have a hard time hearing them. it wasn't that way when they played pearl, and i didn't have that many problems hearing anyone else's quads s much as them. the 4 drum came out once in a while, but if the snares were playing the quad voice disappeared Edited August 8, 2008 by qsurf

Nation of Bass
^ I'm guessing you think they were bad?
Kekkles
depends. are we talking about tuning, playing, or teaching? cuz i've had to remind myself multiple times while reading this topic that it's about tuning.
Nation of Bass
Ok, let me put it this way. On-topic, SCV had best bass tuning. Playing-wise, I love BK. So, I suppose you may have a valid point. I guess I'll go make my own topic.
