Kingsmen StarCorps, Inc. is proud to announce the return of the five (5) time Winter Guard International Finalist. The return of the Kingsmen Winter Guard represents the first step in the launch of a new Kingsmen Corps. Competing in Winter Guard International and the Winter Guard Association of Southern California, the Kingsmen Winter Guard will once again continue their tradition of excellence in the 2009 season. Instructional staff includes: -George Armenta (Arcadia High School) -Michael McNulty and Jennifer Permer (Emerald Marquise and Mission Viejo H.S.) -Christine Higgins (The Cadets) -Pancho Torrez (Blue Devils and Fantasia Winter Guard) -Michael Strachan (Arcadia H.S.) -Jessica Stanchiu (Ventures and Santa Clara Vanguard) We are all looking forward to the return of a highly competitive and successful program. "There is so much history and pride associated with the Kingsmen, this is a long time in the making", says George Armenta. There is absolutely no fee to audition. Auditions will be held on Sunday, September 28, from 1pm - 6pm at Western High School, 501 S. Western Ave., Anaheim, CA 92804. Please wear black, fitted dance clothing and shoes. Also bring your own flag, rifle and sabre. Additional equipment will also be available, should you not own your own. However, the possibility to go Independent World is not out of the question. That will be a staff decision as time progresses. Me too! This weekend is getting ever closer! It will be a Kingsmen weekend at Western HS this weekend. Alumni/Sr. Corps is practicing for a parade too.
