rb325th
Yes, come one, come all. This should be a memorable event. Imagine the combined efforts of dozens of seasoned veterans of Boston and New Jersey drum corps performing a program of the all-time greatest corps arrangements as compiled by Mike Cahill. Mike is doing a great job buffing the ensemble to deliver a brilliance that you won't soon forget. This is a great drum corps fix for me to be a part of! I can't wait for the next rehearsal. Mike's wish is to go out with 20 contras and there are still a few spots left. Come check it out http://www.legendsofdrumcorps.org/rehearsals.html He is definitely taking us to task, and the little things that will mean a lot are coming along nicely. Worries me though if he does get 20 Contras, and close to a hundred horns... Structural integrity of the ceiling is ok there I hope. (not to mention Mikes viagra comments regarding that many contras.) Pretty smoking drum line as well!

rb325th
Just back from our last Saturday rehearsal before next weeks show... Those who will be in attendance will know they paid a bargain price for their tickets. The Legends of Drum Corp is set to blow people out of their chairs. With each rehearsal it becomes cleaner and cleaner, and the sound... Have you ever been playing with a group of musicians and found yourself wishing you could step out of line and just listen? I felt that way today, and not because my chops were ready to fall off at the end, but the talent in that line is incredible. Drummers.. just awesome. Hats off to Cisco and Mike Cahill for bringing us all together for this, and the many many more who have contributed in time, effort and money. I sure hope they have someone video taping this... DPEmerald
Mike Cahill marched and taught the Boston Crusaders......his blood is quite red & black."DEVORATE EOS, BOSTONIA!" Mike did teach Boston but actually never marched with the Crusaders. He marched with the Cambridge Caballeros.

Mike has worked the line really well. He is a pleasure to play for...a scholar and a gentleman! The performance will be a clear credit on his Hall of Fame resume. I am looking forward to being a part of it!
LB Mellophone
This is my first year playing with the Legends. All I have got to say WOW! It has been such a great ride this year. Being one of the newbies, I consider it an honor and a privilage to be able to play(and keep up) with everyone in the line. I was a bit late to rehearsal Saturday and from outside and across the street WHAT AN AMAZING SOUND. Anyone there at the banquet is going to be blown away. Mike and Cisco have done an amazing job this year bringing out the best in all of us musicians...... and the Drumline - -holy moley!!! Rocking!!!! Looking forward to Saturday night WOO HOO
