rifleline14
I just recently purchased WGI fan network, and I'm impressed, but can anyone lead me and suggest some of their favorite shows any of the years available on the fan network. Thanks..

MAV
Here my advice - check out the shows listed on the WGI Fans Favorites. These are amazing shows that have already been voted on as the best. Tried and true. My video (yes, tape and everything) is nearly worn out. Played it to anyone entering the house. It's the price they paid for a hot meal. :) Here are the 15 shows that changed WGI: '79 Seattle Imperials (introduction of dance) '80 Quasar '82 Cavaliers '85 Erte Productions '87 State Street Review '87 Union HS '87 Odyssey '98 Pride of Cincinnati ("First Circle" - one of my favs) '88 San Jose Raiders '89 Blessed Sacrament '91 Miamisburg HS '96 Blue Devils '96 Bishop Kearney HS '01 James Logan HS '06 Fantasia And here are the selections for the first Fans Favorites: 1982 Cavaliers - West Side Story (my personal fav - mind blowing work) 1983 Skylarks - Space Fantasy 1985 Erte Productions - Einstein on the Beach (they came they performed they won) 1986 Odyssey - West Side Story 1986 Royal Guardsmen - Din Da Da: An African Ritual 1987 Miller's Blackhawks - Colors 1987 Union High School - Mannequins 1989 Blessed Sacrament - If You Could Read My Mind 1989 Sonnor - An American in Paris 1989 State Street Review - Salsa 1991 Alliance of Miami - When a Man Loves a Woman 1991 Emerald Marquis - Keltic Show 1991 Miamisburg High School - Candle in the Wind (extended silent flag work) 1992 San Jose Raiders - Good Morning, Vietnam! (OK - this is my personal fav) 1993 Escapade - R.E.M. (considered a near perfect flag ending - stunning)
quegrawks
Here my advice - check out the shows listed on the WGI Fans Favorites. These are amazing shows that have already been voted on as the best. Tried and true. My video (yes, tape and everything) is nearly worn out. Played it to anyone entering the house. It's the price they paid for a hot meal. :) LOL. We had to replace our Fans Favorite videos with DVDs because they were so worn out-- and because I think WGI sells video tapes anymore. They're also now selling previous years on DVD as the "Flashback" series.
SpartanGuard
Pride 2003 - "Stand Up" Pride 2005 - "Everybody Hurts" Fantasia 2007 - "Flurry" Phantom 1980 (if it's on there) - just to see where we got our start :D
whiteroses
lets not forget that, if the OP is only utilizing fan network, the archives start with 2006 and only go back to 2001, and if you want A and Open, only back to 2004. at least, thats the case at the present moment. -also of note, all WGI prelims are up from last weekend! riflebear
I am only utilizing fan network, so indeed only from 2006 back to 2001 Fan Network is quite good this year and with better video quality then in the past. Hope they go further back in the years. You can also go and check out the Colorguard Historical Society for additional videos. http://www.colorguardhistoricalsociety.org Besides... its FREE. : ) Edited April 10, 2009 by riflebear
