kevingamin
Horn line is pretty tight tonight. Tuba sound is better than last night, but still need to open up the throats, kids!
kevingamin
Soloists in Joy are on the opposite side of the field, can't hear them from here.
kevingamin
Closing moments of the show. Tubas just took a breath together, sound totally disappeared for one count. Oops. This is where Crossmen want to be. Fortunately, they've got some rehearsal time coming: Crossmen have 1 1/2 days of rehearsal starting tomorrow until Ft. Edward show on the 1st. Hope the weather is dry for them.

kevingamin
Carolina Crown now doing their pre-show. A little issue in the trumpets to start, but it's like batting practice: It doesn't count and they're getting it out of the way now.

kevingamin
Heard some feet in the mellos' sound. Here's the Promise of Living push. Dissolving away into drums.
kevingamin
Horns right in front of me on their entrance. Love the dynamics added to the opener. Low brass sounds awesome. Oops, fraks in the trumpets. BIG CHORD!
kevingamin
Anybody that thinks Crown doesn't have enough demand in their brass book just isn't listening. Trumpets are working their butts off in front of me, moving and playing some really difficult licks.
kevingamin
Nice rifle toss ripple from right to left. Horns finishing their intro into the 2nd piece. Now drums have their fun.
