No one is going to invest once second of their time to bust you over a license plate or some other little trinket that you just one of made for yourself. Copyright laws exist to prevent someone from cashing in by exploiting someone elses copywrited "thing" without due reward to the creator. Speeding is illegal too. Ever do that? sday88 Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 Perhaps by reproducing items with copyrighted logos and such would be tricky.....but how would creating a Bluecoats helmet be violating any laws? Those are very generic The current ones aren't as generic as they used to be when they were white. I guess in hindsight it would only be a problem if you were to try and sell them. You and 99.9999999999999 of the rest of the population. I'm not really sure of the tone here, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I was just asking a question. I actually just recreated one of my '88 Member shirts so I'd have one that fit. I changed the colors so I could put it on a gray shirt.
