Irish-Kiltie
The Kilties will hold their annual Orientation/Evaluation/Membership Day on Sunday December 6, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Gilmore Middle School in Racine, Wisconsin. Is there anything official (rehearsal or otherwise) for 2010 members being held on Saturday the 5th? I know in past years there had been some limited rehersal the day before the official kick-off as well for those that could attend. The more drumming the better... The more drumming the better...Ryan J It's my understanding Scott, staff, and administration will be at the school from 1pm to 4pm (on December 5th) having meetings, inventories, etc. and any present, returning and/or potential new members are more than welcome to stop by to informally talk, check things out, etc. It will be a casual setting. All the applicants will be invited to the annual corps banquet the evening of Saturday 5th as well if they wish to attend. For the 2009 performing members the banquet, as usual, is free, and a tiny token will be asked from those who wish to attend that will also be a part of the 2010 Kilties. The big day formal is December 6th, and under the structured time management used...much will be accomplished that day from my understanding and seeing first hand over the last couple of years on how smooth things go with a solid structured day.
