up4479 Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 (edited) Why are the numbers counterclockwise? The original clock face was set up for 15 minute quarters, the pro time. It ran in a "clockwise" direction. Later it was changed to 12 minute quarters, the high school time. That's why it looked like a regular clock running backwards.
