Musical selections will include: The Unanswered Question - Charles Ives Three Places in New Haven - Tom Duffy Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night) - Arnold Schoenberg Golliwog's Cake Walk - Claude Debussy Symphony #9 - Gustav Mahler The concept of the show is attempting to solve uncertainty and identifying a time in the history of music where it was uncertain of its future. Executive Director Colby Dempsey had this to say "Its an uncertain time in our world, with everything having to do with politics, the economy, and everything else going on in the world. It's also an uncertain time for Drum Corps with the progression of the rules, and possible reorganization, I thought it was appropriate to do a show that tries to personify that uncertainty, but also quells fears, and puts a positive outlook on the future." Dempsey also says to "not be fooled by the music selections" the arrangements attempt to merge the ideas of the original pieces and provide great drum corps impacts. Amplification and Electronics will also be used to try and answer the question of their future in the activity.
