Dan H.
Isn't at least a little of the ticket price given to the Cavies?I sure hope so because this is the 4 year of problems with this show. But, can't control the weather. Four? I know this year and last year were washouts. 2008 was a little rainy. What went wrong in 2007? I don't remember problems offhand. I can say this hasn't been a very lucky show. I don't care where the money goes; I just had to eat 25 bucks. I'm not even a Cavaliers fan anymore, so I don't care that much if they get part of it. Just sucks to lose that money. Edited July 12, 2010 by Dan H.

Yup! 2007, after they 'resodded' the field with new turf (we had the previous year at another college nearby where it was a LONG walk to the stadium thru a beautiful campus!), it drizzled/rained/drizzled throught the whole show. No lightning, so it wasnt cancelled. 2008, as a previous poster wrote, we got through the whole show THEN during the special performance we got dumped on! 2009, last year, was HORRIBLE! The stadium staff, the school staff and police department were worried about all of the fans. A bunch of us stayed under the bleachers (concrete walls around us), but the police didnt like it. It was like a hurricane outside. Tornado sirens went off at least a couple of times. WOW - ALMOST the worst drum corp weather I'd ever experience except for the Rockford show the week before which the weather was much worse. 2010 - we got it again. My whole ride home it was rain on, rain off. Hoping for a better 2011!!!! Thanks to the staff and volunteers who keep us safe!
