I've been fortunate to have been a member of the top 3 corps on this list. 27th and Star of Indiana before I aged out. Bridgemen Alumni and Star Alumni now. 3 very different families, I love them all.

I had to vote for the Bleu Raeders since my wife marched with them but my second vote would have been for the Anaheim Kingsmen.

I picked Dutch Boy, mainly because they were the LAST CANADIAN corps to make finals !!!!

I sure hope they make it back to the field next season !!!!

I agree that they all should come back.

Interesting thing here.....after almost 40 years of DCI only 23 corps from the top 12 are gone. I think only two of them were champions too. I guess we can always count on Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Phantom Regiment, Garfield Cadets, Bluecoats, Blue Stars, Boston Crusaders, Blue Knights, Glassmen, Madison Scouts and Crown to be in the mix year after year.

And perhaps, The Cavaliers?

I voted for Des Plaines Vanguards not only because they were our local & constant Rivals, but BITD they were among the Best!

2nd choice would be the Belleville Black Knights.

Could you imagine what DCI would be like now if HALF of these corps were still around. Talking of Muchachos, Bridgemens dominance in drums, Argonne, Commodores, horn lines comparing them to Madison. Kingsmen for marching, Souncoast pushing the limit on drill. I wish I had seen many, no all of these corps in person instead of video.

I can't think of a single corps I ever saw who I don't miss. But, if one stands out above all others...SCOUT HOUSE.

I have seen and competed against all but 4 of the last 5 in the list. It really was a very special time for my teenaged years.

All that have left the field are greatly missed.
