CrunchyTenor
You know my heart still belongs to BDB, but I am proud that my state now has four corps, three open and one world, and by the size of Forte, Genesis and Revolution, it gives me hope that open class will continue to flourish.... I have to agree. Revolution is the "lifer" in this group, now in their 11th competitive season. Of course everybody knows the Crossmen story. They did something Sky Ryders couldn't...move to Texas and survive. Forte is Memphis Sound relocated and rebranded, so there was a little infrastructure going for them. My question is where did Genesis come from? Is this the corps that came out of the group that marched in Mystikal last year? While much of the staff and maybe a handful of kids came from the 2009 season of Mystikal, Genesis is on their own when it comes to ties, as well as Forte. Each of course has their own nonprofit status and BoD, but yes you can say that their "experience" comes from the corps before I guess.
