I see what you're saying now. Ok, now that you see the logic there, here is the next step in how the national WC tour has helped kill off OC corps': The OC corps' had a choice to make; either do far less shows (and who wants to pay $1500, go to all of those camps, and spend the whole summer rehearsing to only perform at ten or eleven shows?), or they had to go on the road to find more shows (and no offense, but who wants to pay $2800 to march with a smaller OC corps when that amount will get you into a top twelve WC corps?). Thus, the WC national tour starting in early June is "a" reason, not "the" reason, but "a" reason many OC corps have had to just close up shop.
