weirdscience
Listen to his eponymous album that came out a few months ago and tell me that a mello section wouldn't have a field day with some of his stuff.
MikeN
Haven't heard it, but my wife really likes the album she has. Mike
Nilla
Oooooh interesting question! :) Which corps do you think would do it first? Maybe Bluecoats?
Minimaster
A little Beth/Rest would be a change of pace, maybe shortened version for a down ending. Holocene opening with the pit with the acoustic guitar part. Maybe.
weirdscience
Oooooh interesting question! :) Which corps do you think would do it first? Maybe Bluecoats? Definitely the 'Coats. Imagine them doing 'Calgary' as a soft closer. Gives me chills thinking about what you could arrange for mellos, sops and drumline. I'm thinking you start the piece with mellos carrying the melody and the rest of the hornline playing with backs to audience...

I think if any corps could totally do it and do it WELL, it's them.
