kevingamin
Next on the field is Jubal from Dordrecht, Netherlands. Their 2011 program is entitled "Back to the Future". No selections listed on Corpsreps.com.
kevingamin
Nice. The corps comes onto the field to a recording of the corps from years past, sounds like a drum solo of Hoedown. They might even be doing the same drill. :D
kevingamin
They're now high mark timing while in a 100 formation. This is their 100th anniversary, after all.
kevingamin
HUGE sound to start the show! Guard has rainbow flags as the corps opens with Over the Rainbow.
kevingamin
Tempo kicks up big time after the opening statement. Drum line gets a feature. Strong start to the show so far. This is a former Dutch and European champion, after all. Very aggressive performance. These guys and gals are here to show us how awesome European corps is, not that we haven't discovered that in the past. Never hurts to be reminded. kevingamin
Crowd is defintiely into this show. Heh, nice birthday cake, complete with guard holding balloons. :D Also a very silly rendition of Happy Birthday. Yeah, Count Bubba!
kevingamin
This is a blast of a show. I'm very interested to see where they place in Open Class.
kevingamin
Backfield now, sounds like one of those songs about special times in life. Hard to describe since I don't know it.
kevingamin
The horn sound is a little crass at times, but they have a powerful sound which I enjoy. Remembrance now. Last played by Madison in 1990 and 1998.
kevingamin
Nice pit features where the mellophones played in Madison's version. Great stabs from the horns, too.
