Drum Corps Nation
Really? Howard Johnson has been doing it since 1967. Keep reaching. Many more people have heard Howard Johnson improv than probably ever will hear Youngblood. Uhm... dude. Record scratching didn't even exist as a performance medium until the late 80's/early 90's. How could Howard Johnson have been imitating a sound on tuba that he wouldn't hear for at least another 20 years?

Yelling, screaming, singing, beats, loops, etc. Just because this one is done to try to attempt to make a record scratching sound, doesn't make it any different than the others. All that's different is the sound they are replicating. Nat's good, but you are still attributing way too much to the man. This was Ho-Jo's territory, before Nat was even born.
