BigHoosierMack
Oh My word..... All I can think of when I hear there's yet another "Project" under works from this cat. Linky (About the project, not the dude) Is there anything we can legally / legitimately do to ensure people don't have to find this corner of the interwebs to learn what's happened? Can we start a facebook warning page or something? I only ask because A) I'm the guy who brought the "Ecplipse" situation to the collective attention here, and I'm upset with myself for getting lax on tracking this kid's actions. b) According to his Twitter feed, he's not done yet. cnagy1 c) the time for redemption is over, as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to make a point of following his every move. And calling him out any time I get the chance. Thanks DCP for keepin' the faith. Stu
Is there anything we can legally / legitimately do to ensure people don't have to find this corner of the interwebs to learn what's happened? Can we start a facebook warning page or something? I suppose that the "staff" who were burned by losing out on other gigs and purchased flights to the canceled camps, if they have not already received voluntary restitution and really wanted to do something, could potentially claim breach of contract along with financial harm within civil court. Otherwise it appears that the operation has imploded and is now defunct so it might be best to just let it go. My real concern is that I hope no youth/parents were financially burned in this ordeal. ripper
Have followed the entire thread thought this might be food for thought RULES FOR TURNING STRESS INTO SUCCESS by Denis Waitley 1. Accept the Unchangeable - Everything that has happened in your life to this minute is unchangeable. It's history. The greatest waste of energy is in looking back at missed opportunities, lamenting past events, grudge collecting, getting even, harboring ill will, and any vengeful thinking. Success is the only acceptable form of revenge. By forgiving your trespassers, you become free to concentrate on going forward with your life and succeeding in spite of your detractors. You will live a rewarding and fulfilling life. Your enemies, on the other hand, will forever wonder how you went on to become so successful without them and in the shadow of their doubts. Action Idea: Write down on a sheet of paper things that happened in the past that bother you. Now crumple the paper into a ball and throw it at the person teaching this program at the front of the room. This symbolizes letting go of past misfortunes.
