RogerF
For fundraising purposes, and other purposes, what about a concept in DCI: 1) Allow a drum corps to auction off or allow one or two spots within the corps for a person over the age of 30 to compete with the corps? The person would have to audition, etc. but I think it would be an interesting concept.......
SiBlueStar
I'm in. Nice thinking. Maybe not over the age of 30 haha. I've marched two seasons and I don't think my body could handle any more, much less a 30 year old!

Then again, DCA is all age...so would anyone over the age-out limit want to go DCI, or just go to DCA where you not only have 21 and under, but also 21 and over...? Noname
Blue Devils 2012: Bey0nd Concept But in all seriousness, I don't think that would end up working too well. I believe at least one corps would "cheat" and pay for awesome members like Scott Dean or Drew Guy, even though he "payed" for it. Might not happen. But I think it opens the door too much.
