I don't recall much about Mandarins except rumors about George Takei doing the voice over. While I love Crown's use of vocals and speaking parts (see my signature. LOL!), I think Mandarins are another Corps that is using the voice effectively. Having read a little about the backstory on their website, the narration helps me follow the story presented on the field. I think it's very well presented and blends great with the music and drill. I believe the young lady on the keyboards is triggering the voice samples (at least it looked that way from my seat). She sure has her hands (fingers?) full triggering the correct sample on cue.
