Tremendous Blast is back from their 3 year tour of Morocco (nice place) and will be marching the Oktoberfest parade on Sept 27 in St.Peter Mn. The Tremendous would like to invite you to carry water for all us Blasters and let you try to get back into a real corps. Anyway thanks for the offer of carrying water for the Tremendous Blunders but scooping elephant dung barehanded is more prestigious. I happen to know the Blue Stars Allumni are done with the whole " lets take anything that walks, even bag pipper want-a-bees" like youself, as your good ( and only ) friend this will be your last chance to march with the Tremendous. Please don't throw this away like you did with EVERYTHING in your little life of non-blasting. Though I am impressed with Tremendous Blah and I say impressed because the fact you can find the parade route year after year is a major accomplishment within itself...I will have to pass. For those interested in joining the Blue Stars in what has become a TREMENDOUS event can do so by following this link. March with the best, have fun like the best...Blue Stars Here is more info about rehearsal and stuff... INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE ASKING BUT HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED (please register today) Rehearsal: Friday September 27th. 5pm registration and instrument distribution. 6PM Sectionals - Brass, Percussion, Guard will work on music. 7:30 Ensemble 9PM - Rehearsal is done - party inside and Announcments about the 50th Anniversary Reunion Corps. Location is at Boot Hill Pub. (www.boothillpub.com) 1501 St. Andrew, La Crosse Parade on the 28th. 8:30am call time at Logan Middle School. 9:00am rehearsal. 11:00am Tentative step off time for the parade. Music is hosted online. If you have registered you have the link in the email you received after you registered. For those who want the music and have not register you can do so here. www.bluestars.org/ofest Uniform: You are responsible for bringing your pants and shoes. Tan/Khaki pants or shorts and tennis shoes. You will receive an official 2013 Parade Corps t-shirt to wear in the parade. Brass....you will need to bring or purchase white gloves. They are typically availalbe for sale at the registration table for a minimal fee. HATS - If you have marched in the past and have an Alumni Baseball Cap, please bring it. IF YOU FORGET you will need to purchase a new one. FIRST TIME attendees will receive a cap as part of their registration. MUSIC: Julida Polka and Freebird. Freebird only needs to be memorized through to Letter D. PLEASE HAVE YOUR PARTS MEMORIZED PRIOR TO REHEARSAL ON FRIDAY SO WE CAN WORK ON MUSICAL.
