NY Skyliners PR Posted December 7, 2013 Share Posted December 7, 2013 The Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps joins our drum corps brethren in extending sincerest sympathies to Bill Toomey's family at his recent passing. Bill was with the Skyliners in 2001, both as a staff person and as an Assistant Drum Major. He always demonstrated passion for drum corps and for the people he worked with and taught. Bill was patient with newer members who needed a little extra help, and was always there for people on the field - and off the field. In addition, he brought quick wit and humor to any situation! It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity for Bill to be a part of the Skyliners. He will be missed throughout the drum corps community.
