Based on what I've seen Cascades have absolutely nothing to worry about concerning making the top 25.

Looks like a couple more international corps are throwing their hat in the ring in both Michigan City and Indy, according to the lists:

Chien Kuo- Taipei City, Taiwan

Gita Surosowan Banten- Serang City, Banten, Indonesia

There are some videos of the Indonesian corps on YouTube...good-sized, and pretty decent...could nab a spot in Open Class finals if things fall their way, but I see them just missing. Some ethnic sounds we don't normally hear in last year's show.

Chien Kuo looks to be a bit smaller, with true marching band instrumentation. Cleaner than the Indonesian group, should be in the mix for an Open Class finalist spot (with an asterisk?), possibly even in the group pushing for Semis.

I have no idea where DCI week falls with respect to their normal seasons, which could be a factor.

As DMT observed, we have a switch at the top, but it's close, and those two corps meet twice more in the next two days. A big move up by Watchmen and BDC, but a notable drop by Incognito. (As was previously said, it's too bad Columbians and Eruption couldn't make the trip down for this SoCal weekend.) Gold is back in the mix as of tomorrow. And who knows what will result from the big matchup at Minneapolis!

Right now it seems that Legends, Genesis, Music City, 7th Regiment, and Spartans will all battle furiously for number three at Michigan City. But that's still three weeks away. First is the SoCal championship Sunday night.

Curiously, the top four corps at that show all saw their scores go down, while the bottom five corps all saw their scores go up--except BDC, who got the same score they'd earned the previous night.
