It's pretty dang fun. Hell, its how I picked my first instrument before starting band. shofmon88 Posted February 3, 2017 Share Posted February 3, 2017 My school district did this as well for students entering middle school. It's what convinced me to pick up trumpet. It was run by seniors in the local high schools, and I volunteered to help out when I was a senior. It's quite fun handing a kid an instrument and watching them discover.
