CheezMaster
We used lithium grease this season in Cap Sound. That seemed to work just fine!
CheezMaster
You might want to e-mail someone from the Yea! organization. I'm sure you can get an e-mail address from the site. www.yea.org
Snapettes Mom
I think your right about YEA! especially if the response is coming from somebody from the Cadets. I thought the tuning in the battery section whomped the competition in 2002 especially the snare line cutting through very well. Mom
snarejax
Vaseline. That's what we always used back in the day. Dip the tension rod in it then twist it in a paper towell whiping off the excess. Works Great! You can use it on the rim too. Make sure you sand it down if needed and check for roundness. YES
RickCogley
We used Vaseline on the lugs and candle wax around the rim. Now, though, I would say use lithium grease on the lugs. If you grease a wooden rim, it will probably damage the wood, eventually, I would say.
