MikeN
I read somewhere that their double beat exercise this year was based on a techno song. Does anyone know what it was? (And FWIW - I see this exercise becoming the most-copied drum piece in the next few years. At the Houston Bowl, 2 different HS drumlines were already using it...) FakeFlam
Not sure, but I do know that sorting out the rights are what has prevented it's publishing. Murray Gusseck has got to be on of the hippest writers in the game right now.
drumstix909
I don't know where it was from, but it was awesome! Every time I heard them play it I would get chills! Wow, what a snareline...and that bass beat was ######## too. God I loved Vanguard's drumline last summer!

drumholio
it is based off a Steve Reich song called "drumming." You can find it on the album "Reich Remixed."
