MelloHorn13
Yeah, at my high school I just arranged one of song called Motown Suite... it was like 4 songs in a Suite for Marching Band. At my school we have ensembles and a chamber groupd club where I can probally get some of my stuff played... but I'm not sure if I'll get that chance when I go to college so I take advantage of it now. kalijah
If you cant hear it in your head then you can't write it. Listen till you start hearing things then write them. You MUST train your ear first. Arranging is creating, mostly.
MelloHorn13
yup ear training... but it's nothing like hearing it outside your head.
rockhound967
Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but the best way to learn to arrange is to go to school and learn theory!!!!! Too many people try to do stuff half ### without knowing the fundimentals!!!!!!!! :ramd:
