marsh1109
Lets see how I can break this down. This past year. IW - Blessed Sac and Northern Lights B) IO - I am partial to Alter Ego - love those kids, but St John's Beverly had a pretty good package. IA - didn't get to see much, but High Voltage had a great show. SW - who else but James Logan - helloooooooo SO - didn't see too many. SA - I dont think I saw a one, sorry - not to be rude - just the facts. Of all time - 1983 Quasar B) runner-up - 1988 Union High School some other close contenders in my favorites - 1984 Conquest, 1989 Blessed Sac, 2001 James Logan, 1994 Emerald Marquis. G-Rott
I forget what guard it was...they are on the Fan's Favorite DVD....might have been Pride...wearing yellow body suits...performed to Channel One Suite...I think that is the most perfectly designed indoor show I have ever seen...and I've seen alot...there doesn't seem to be a movement, form or portion of work that doesn't fit....incredible.... Guardguy89
Okay, so I'm a bit biased on this one, but Sonnor has always come out with some of the most beautiful shows I've ever seen - and they always make it look so effortless: 1988 France 1900's 1989 An American in Paris 1991 Kate Bush - This Woman's Work 1992 Sinead O'Connor - Three Babies 1994 - Sarah McCloughlin 1999 - The Paintings Year 2001 - My Favorite Things But who can forget: 1987 Union High School - The Mannequin year 1989 Blessed Sac - If you could Read my Mind 1993 (I think) Victoriaville Phoenix - The Schoolgirl Year 2002 -Fantasia's Kama Sutra show Later, Mike
Garfield Cadets
State Street Review RULED back in the day! 1987 was a HOT year in WGI State Street - Heaven & #### Miller's Blackhawks - The World Is Alive With Color (My all-time fave show!) Union High School - Mannequin (When that huge fabric cover rolled to the back of the floor & all the members had "turned into" REAL mannequins I peed on myself!LOL)
Malibu
Escapades....."It's the End of the World"......I think it was either 1993 or '94....I'd have to get my tape out to see, but I tell you, it was a non stop performance and only got better as it went on. The drill looked like something Brubaker himself wrote with breath taking guard work to compliment.
