WoobieATL
New memory: Star of Indiana Alumi Corps looked and sounded great at the Indy 500 parade! I also got a listen at the Gala performance they did at Cook Headquarters. WOW!
buzzgok
I remember doing the Danville exhibition on Saturday and then bussing down to Clifton to do the first show of the season. In '82, Brian Schell, Steve Fillipelli and myself play keyboards. They had announced positions up to 3rd place and Steve said, "I can live with losing to Hawthorne." Brian and I agreed on that point and then they announced Hawthorne in 2nd place and all I heard was Steve saying, "Holy ####, we won this thing!" :P Edited May 30, 2004 by buzzgok
Jaminbenb
My memory of that was "God...we sucked so bad that they didn't even annouce us" Never in my life (well at that time) did I think..AND BY POINTS! Yeah..that was always a great weekend...the Danville show was the big "premier" of everyones show, my most vivid memory was '79, Westshore coming off of a good solid season, Reading having a not so great 78, and our debut of our new uniforms! Well.,.the wind was sure blown out of OUR sails when Reading walked by in their block...Full complement..with THEIR new coats! Not a good thing for our team! drumzx
My memory of that was "God...we sucked so bad that they didn't even annouce us"Never in my life (well at that time) did I think..AND BY POINTS! I'll never forget that feeling. . .and there were no cell phones for all to call home to announce the stunning event. Everybody was lined up at a "pay phone"

drumzx
I was thinking about this again, remembering Mt. Carmel and the Mounties. Remember them? They were the Cabs in Mountie uniforms.
JimF-LowBari
I was thinking about this again, remembering Mt. Carmel and the Mounties. Remember them? They were the Cabs in Mountie uniforms. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL, still have the 1974 Fresh Air Fanfair records in my cellar. Front of the album is a bunch of DC pics, plus one that looks like the Mounties baton twirlers. Really a "WT#" as they are not on the album. For you youngsters, the Mounties used to do exhibitions at DC shows. I remember them at Carlisle and Hershey(?)...
