N2CORPS
We never hear about contra lines, so I thought this would be interesting.

Dave
Best brass anything goes to Cavaliers, hands down. Awesome intonation and technique, and the ensemble sound was the best out there. Congrats to them on winning the Jim Ott award, it was well-deserved. :D
BennyASU
Cadets...loved them in BWBB!
BlooooContra
Best playing contra line would have to be Cavies. Best looking/playing combo would have to be Bluecoats. Honorable mention to Spirit and SCV. Any line that tilts their heads to a 45 just to play the horn is automatically disqualified. :P
SWC
Gotta love Southwind's all-rookie contra line. Too bad we had a few drop-outs at the begining of the season.
ContraBen
1. Bluecoats, just cause I'm jealous that I didn't get to play all that fun stuff. 2. Capital Regiment, we've got big horns...and our 15 year old gained 20 pounds of muscle at death camp. 3. Spirit, their horns are kinda big, and they play loud. 4. Scouts, their horns are big. 5. Southwind, see above
N2CORPS
So, your definition of the best contra line in 2002 would be determined, not by the playing ability of the line, but by how "big their horns are". I picked Phantom, however I thought the Cavies line was pretty solid. But, if I were to judge them by your standards they would be close to the bottom because those contras are small. Enlighten me please. (Keep in mind I do realize that you are entitled to your opinion...bashing your opinion is not my intent).
spiritsop01
Spirit's contra line was one of the louder lines... for sure.
