While this is ideal in assuming that the judges will be completely objective, the reality is that they aren't. You can look at some historical performances and see that the seeding still affected outcome as much as performance. Judges can, and have, boxed themselves out in a category.

I predict someone will be upset their corps didn't win and scream about how they got robbed.

Regardless of all that, I'm excited to see someone new in the hunt for the title. So tired of the monotony of BD, Cavies, Cadets... Let's see PR dark horse or Coats upset :-P

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha. That was one of the funniest things I've seen today. And talk about class, noone got upset over it, it was just good clean fun!

Yeah, while I thought this show was fabulous: (Great concept, strong hornline, clean drums, excellent guardwork, etc) execution-wise, the corps above them had 'em beat. Although I'm willing to argue that for a show, SCV should've had BD beat. (Grumbles under his breath about BD's sound effect show)

I am in complete agreement here. To me, this show is so underestimated and it drives me insane that people don't respect it as much as they should.

In my opinion this year has not been the best year for corps. Some decent shows, don't get me wrong, but not a year to be remembered, IMHO. Cadets, Regiment, and Crown have my votes for memorable shows this year. I'll have to listen more before I can make a final assertion though.

My personal opinion is that they're going in the right direction. They provide shows with LOTS of entertainment, great execution that is of a difficult catagory, and have an all around beautiful sound. Program-wise, they're figuring it out. Keep up the good work, Regiment.
