It was in the Phantom Regiment section and the only inscription for the picture is "On the Field at World Open (remember Kilties?)" -- no year given. Orpheus Posted November 18, 2004 Share Posted November 18, 2004 I'm a relative youngster, so I don't know how groundskeepers took care of their football fields back in the 1960s, but drum corps aside, wasn't it rather dangerous for the athletes who are running and diving and falling all over the field to have metal sprinklers imbedded in the turf?
