gumby5647
"As Spirit prepares for a year of celebration going into the corps 30th anniversary, the corps’ 2005 show title is “Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue.” The design team of David Starnes, Randy Nelson, Michael Gaines, Richard Saucedo and Clint Gillespie will be releasing the full program at the 2005 Spirit banquet on Nov. 26. This production will be one that the fans will love and the members will thoroughly enjoy performing."
madscout96
Spirit of Atlanta? I thought they folded. I really miss them. By the way, I wonder what Spirit of JSU will be doing in 2006... Sorry to be nitpicky. :P Sounds good, Spirit!

gumby5647
As long as they're wearing baby blue jackets with a delta on the front, they'll always be Spirit of Atlanta to me....

vaguardguy
Dutch Boy 2005 on corpsreps.com I thought the same thing when I read the announcement. It won't be the first time a DivI corps borrowed here and there from a II/III production, even if it is nothing more than a show title. Then again, the "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" expression is rooted so deep in our culture that I imagine their show concept was still completely independent. bssop97
I can't help but seeing the word "Blue" with Spirit and think Blues in the Night.
spiritsop01
I think the interesting thing is... what are they going to "borrow?"
