Anyway, my recommendations: Anything by Spoon (especially off of "Gimme Fiction"), Any Chick Corea, Lots of 311, Pat Metheny. That's all I got. Yeah, pretty much. I thought that it was more mainstream than just the Gulf Coast though. I first heard about it when I lived in Houston, and just the other day heard about it here in Dallas. Their bass player has incredible bass lines too. Fast band, but nothing too hard. Moneen - Music inspires me The Junction - Very happy music, amazing singer The Reason - Friends of mine, I toured with them in the fall Boys Night Out - A lil hard, I love them Alexisonfire - Good band City & Colour - Guitar player/singer of the above band Dallas Green this is his acoustic side project, one of the best voices in Canada Blurt - FIND THIS BAND IF YOU CAN Thieves - GOOD GOOD MUSIC The Fully Down - Three guitarists, crazee riffs, super band That's it from me. All Ontario underground bands. Give it a shot. I know I'll be listening to a lot of these bands on tour.
