Ugh, please don't make me do the leg work for this one - I'm too busy today! In all seriousness though - DCP is this strange dichotomy where people complain about slotting and inconsistent judging all in the same breath. People complain when 'their corps' have not so great scores in a caption but when it swing in their favor they're the first ones to cite the judges for judging the 'performance of the day'. This thread is dedicated to the people who are complaining about JJ's scores last night - that goes for the Crown people who complained when they had them in 5th who now praise him and the BD folks who complain that crown was ahead of them last night. Chill out dudes and dudettes - it's just marching band - we're not curing cancer. EDIT: one more thing - this thread is complaining about the people who actually do act like toddlers and stamp their feet and cite judging bias/slotting/whatever they need to say to make them feel better about their corps not being in the position they want them to be in. I for one think crown should have swept the GE Music caption last night from both judges but I respect the second judges opinion enough to let the issue go.

The real story from the staff at CC or just what the tuba kid told you? Not to say he is lying or incorrect, but there is always two sides to every story. And honestly, posting the corps name without telling the 'story' that you know and the other side of the story is just classless.

I don't like the new ending at all. I think for Cadets, this year is going to be like Crown 2010 - continually searching for a good ending. just my .02

CC is wiping the floor with pretty much every guard out there right now. Get back to me when Regiments guard beats them.

You've got to be kidding me... A) I disagree that there's a lack of flag work and B) In todays world I don't think it (a lot of flag work vs weapons/movement) matters as much as it used to.

Anyone have the times for corps performances? I have work in Dorchester tonight but may pop down after I get out...

Not saying Crown will ultimately end up in 4th but if they do and of they do win high brass they will be the lowest placing corps to win the Ott since......? Anyone?

Perhaps she's the universes way of balancing out Marie Czapinski's scores. Seems like MC has an eternal hardon for the Cavaliers
