cnyc03
Vision Elite and Cadets of New York City are two different organizations. V.E. is under the Brooklyn Music and Arts Program, which CNYC was not. (The only relationship that existed was some help that BMAP provided for CNYC during their last year of being active). It might seem that they are the same to some people becuase the people who have worked hard to bring V.E to the world of drum corps either helped or were staff members of CNYC. So, although they have some of the same staff, they are a new and different organization with a new board, new staff members, and definitely a ton of new kids. If you go back to an article published in May on DCI.org, the director of BMAP was quoted, saying how we was "looking forward" to introducing V.E.'s members to drum corps and DCI. look here That is a clear indication that they are NEW and are a different program. hope this makes some sense lol
